bronnersDr. Bronner’s Moral ABC is clear, “We are responsible for ourselves but also each other, and as we grow, we must grow responsibly.”

There are six key principles that guide the mission and goals of Dr. Bronner’s:

  1. Work hard! Grow!
  2. Do right by customers
  3. Treat employees like family
  4. Be fair to suppliers
  5. Treat the earth like home
  6. Fund & fight for what’s right!

With this principles in mind, it was an honor to involve Dr. Bronner’s in the Savory Meal this year. Dr. Bronner’s was founded in 1948 in Los Angeles by Emanuel Bronner, a third generation German-Jewish soap maker. The loss of his parents to the holocaust made him a committed advocate of world peace, tolerance and the transcendence of religious and national boundaries. His vision and the leading roles that Dr. Bronner’s has taken in a broad range of social and environmental activism is what distinguishes us most even from other socially responsible companies. You can find Dr. Bronner’s headquarters located in Vista, North San Diego County.
