Blake and Stephanie, along with their children, Joseph, Christian, Vanessa, Dalton and Savanna own Alexandre Family Farms, a grass-based organic dairy producing organic milk in Crescent City, Eureka, Ferndale, and Smith River, California. Managed under traditional farming methods and strong organic principles, the Alexandres have been certified organic since 1999. The Alexandres believe their God-given talents are to be stewards of the land. They dedicate themselves to operating a profitable sustaining business by their commitment to holistic farming practices, lush green pastures, animal welfare and environmental stewardship. The Alexandre’s believe that this cool coastal climate is highly conducive to sustainable organic grass, milk, meat and egg production. Pasturing animals nourishes the land, recycles nutrients and reduces erosion and organic dairying conforms with the Alexandre’s philosophy, core principles and stewardship practices. The result is nutrient dense milk, meat and eggs. Blake and Stephanie are blessed to be a part of farmers who are blending old traditions and new values; that a traditional way of life, raising cattle, can be done in harmony with nature.
