Reno Holistic Management Workshop at Urban Roots

The Jefferson Center is teaming up with the great folks at Urban Roots in Reno, Nevada to offer a Savory Institute accredited one-day holistic  management workshop on June 27, 2015.The one-day workshop provides a first taste of holistic management. Large commercial farming operations to small, local producers can benefit from the workshop. Farming and ranching experience is not a pre-requisite for attendance. Anyone who wants to manage their lives holistically and connect with others who value regenerative agriculture will find the workshop meaningful. Attendees of the Reno holistic management workshop should reflect on what they want to get out of the workshop as the Jefferson Center works to tailor the topics and content of the day to meet the needs and expectations of the group. Each workshop is unique.

Attendees can expect to spend some time in a classroom setting learning about the principles and core concepts of holistic management. The afternoon is spent outside learning how to recognize and observe ecosystem processes. Holistic management offers a new way to see the world. Warning: once you learn to read the ecosystem, you’ll never look at land in the same way again!
