Sarah Gleason,Marketing and Communications Director, at the Savory Institute asked the Jefferson Center and the Tallgrass Network in Kansas to create videos of their experience managing holistically. The videos are short, on-the-ground testimonials of our work.

The videos will be used as part of the Savory Instiitue’s work with the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification. The Savory Institute is participating in their campaign leading up to World Day to Combat Desertification on June 17.

According to the United Nations website:

“Desertification and land degradation is now a major concern globally. Sand storms, low land productivity, extinction of wild animals are some typical consequences which may threaten the survival of humankind in future. Therefore we would like to mark this year’s  World Day to Combat Desertification (WDCD) with the reminder that healthy and productive land is the key resource for life on earth.”

The videos are a great glimpse into everyday work and life of a Savory Network Hub.

Here’s another great post from our friends Julie and Chloe in Kansas, with whom we have lots of fun and many laughs. Think of Spencer while reading no. 12 in Chloe’s list of 16 moments every holistic grassfed organic farmer will recognize.
